Historical Style RHINESTONE NECKLACE CITRINE

Inspired by historical citrine jewelry, this rhinestone necklace is handmade from selected vintage glass stones.

 

Old crystal glass stones in pale champagne color (old Swar. "Rauchtopas") in square shape and crisp facets are framed with newer glass rhinestones. There are ten plates that are attached with pearl links. The even number of plates allows to add a pendant, locket or a simple bow in the center of the necklace, so you can give it different looks. Each rhinestone is attached into setting and then wired to the metal filigree. The spring clasp is secure with chain of same pearl links on opposite side, allowing to adjust the lenght of the necklace.

 

Materials used:
*vintage Swar. rhinestones in "Rauchtopas" (See last photo). These rare crystals also glow under UV light so they might have been made similarly as Vaseline or Uranium glass.
*new glass rhinestones in clear color
*new Preciosa glass pearls in cream color
*new metal components
*spring clasp

Size:
*32cm (12 1/2 inches) minimum length, extender chain allows additional 6cm
*The motifs measure 1,5cm in diameter
